Company History
SmartWatt Energy Services was founded in 2002 by Chris Covell and John Bonicoro. Prior to starting SmartWatt, the future partners had worked together in the energy services industry and often talked about how the services they were offering could be improved. Chris’s and John’s vision was that successful energy projects resulted from providing clients with innovative design, superior engineering, vigilant project management and unparalleled customer service. These were the founding concepts of SmartWatt Energy Systems and are the same principles that guide the company’s operating mission today.
