President

Chris Covell founded SmartWatt Energy in 2002, and as President oversees all aspects of national operations. He has spearheaded impressive growth over the last several years, and expanded the company nationwide. In 2010, he was named one of the Business Review's "40 under 40" and in 2011 SmartWatt Energy was named the third "Fastest Growing" company in the Capital Region. Prior to founding SmartWatt Energy, Chris earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and gained valuable experience working in the financial services industry for Fidelity Investments. In his spare time, Chris enjoys skiing, golfing, biking and spending time with his wife, Kerry, and two young sons.
